RAR sends vets to Romania twice a year to teach local vets in modern spay/neuter techniques. Dr. Bachman will be in Romania to train vets and perform spay/neuter surgeries from May 11-23. This trip will cost about $6000 for the airfare, veterinary supplies and surgical equipment. Together, we have reached that goal, with his airfare, travel expenses, supplies, and money already magnanimously donated. Your generosity has provided the funds needed to send Dr. Bachman to Romania in May. Thank you!

Wine and Appetizer Fundraiser

Price: $25 in advance, $35 at the door
Details: Romania Animal Rescue has asked Afghan Animal Rescue League to share in the proceeds of this event! Wine and appetizers at The Oasis Grille Pleasanton, CA. The food is vegetarian, the restaurant is unique and exotic. Activities include silent auction items, raffle items, and live auction items! There is lodging across the street at the Pleasanton Hotel.

OCTOBER

Dr. Olson, from Alaska, will be returning in October to Romania.

RAR's vet training program is the one thing that makes our charity unique to others, and is very well received in Romania. We have a waiting list of charities that want us to send vets to train their vets! We need only the cost of the supplies for our vets, as generous support of frequent flyer miles have allowed RAR to send the US vets to Romania at no cost, and the veterinarians and friends in Romania have offered accommodations for the US vets while they are in Romania. Each training program costs $6000 in supplies.
