The Difference We Make

A monthly $5 donation from one hundred people can spay/neuter 34 dogs each month. That becomes 400 dogs per year. With more contributions, how many more dogs will not be born? A bitch can produce approximately 67,000 descendants in 6 years. Theoretically 320 spayed bitches in 2010 prevent 21,440,000 descendants in 2017. With a €5 donation each month, we can prevent the birth of a lot of puppies and their miserable living conditions. They will experience no poisonings, collisions, dog catchers and pounds. We can work with each other so that many descendants will no longer be born!

How Do We Realize This?

We have come in contact with Nancy Janes from Romania Animal Rescue. This American woman has set up in 2006, a non-profit organization to spay/neuter as many dogs and cats in Romania. Nancy Janes has no dog sanctuary and catches no dogs. Its organization is supported by fundraisers and has a number of charity associations in Romania. From these contacts, she runs Spayathons with free spay/neuter procedures for those in need in the cities Sibiu, Bucharest, Cluj/Napoca, Craiova, Braila, Giurgiu, Galati, Arad, Popesti, Jilava, Glina, Tecuci, Slatina and Buzau. They have a reliable reputation therefore we know that our money is also entirely spent on the aim for which we giving: The dogs in Romania. For the past couple of months, Romania Animal Rescue has had a public relation with us. Nancy Janes has a good contact with Aurelian Stefan, a veterinary surgeon in Romania. She finances as much as possible the support projects in villages where he spays/neuters dogs and cats of the local population. And with the training of young veterinary surgeons; The training to veterinary surgeon in Romania is not like that in the West. The mission of Aurelian is to reduce the overpopulation of strays, teach people how they must accept animals into their house and to fight against the violence to dogs.

Spay/Neuter More Dogs Each Month with More Contributions!

Many Romanian dogs have been adopted in European countries. Not to let the Romanians forget their dogs. Help them to prevent the overpopulation of puppies. Participate with these contributors on the Romanian dog forum. The streets from early spring are overrun with puppies with a miserable existence. Until the winter months this continues. We can help to prevent these puppies from being born. They need us!
