Indiana is the last state in the US to have animal rights. ISPCA has created this list to show the state of Indiana that people and organizations around the world are working for a common cause: to help the animals. Through legislation, education, and sterilization, ISPCA hopes to bring animal rights to the state of Indiana, which has a widespread animal overpopulation problem of common house pets (dogs and cats) and farm animals (pigs, chickens, etc.). ISPCA chose 15 people and organizations this year who are making the most impact in the fight for animal rights. Thank you, Indiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, for this honor.
