We are having our spay/neuter campaign, in which we send international vets to Galati to spay/neuter 200 dogs per/vet, as well as train Galati vets early age spay/neuter!

We are having our 3rd Annual Romania Animal Rescue Golf Tournament on April 24, 2006.

We have 2 new ROLDA shelter Sponsors: June Luzarraga and Barbara Kohn! Thanks to their support, Bobitza will have monthly care at ROLDA, and Wayne will be neutered, with monthly care. We couldn’t do it without you June and Barbara!

Anyone want to sponsor little Tully? Nancy found him in a trash dump in November. He was starving and almost dead. Look at his little bones sticking out. Tully now lives at the ROLDA shelter, and he will NEVER eat garbage again!!!

To sponsor one of ROLDA’s shelter dogs, you have a number of options:

• $20/month will help ROLDA to feed and care for any of our unadoptable dogs or puppies.
• $30/ month will allow ROLDA to vaccinate, de-parasite, and feed and care for any number of unadoptable dogs or puppies that are in need of care
• $50/month will allow ROLDA to spay/neuter ADOPTABLE dogs, de-parasite them, feed them and care for them. Occasionally, we have an unadoptable dog that needs to be neutered or spayed for his/her own health, as in the case of Wayne, who is paralyzed from the waist down.

Loretta Swit has helped RAR immensely by posing for a banner poster ad for the animals of Romania with Mihai! Thank you Loretta, Susan Taylor, and Paul Jolly for allowing this to happen!

We have 6 veterinarians signed up to participate in our mass sterilization program in Galati. Please donate to make this a successful campaign! The flights for the veterinarians have been provided by AnnaBell Washburnm Katherine Kovac, Rory Janes, and Nancy Janes. We need more airline miles (complete miles only please), and donations for the supplies that will allow us to spay/neuter up to 7000 dogs.
