Hello Nancy,
I wanted to write and tell you how much my wife and I appreciated the incredible effort you, your organization and everyone involved gave to the welfare of those precious 16 puppies here in Romania.
From the first conversation you told me not to worry. That the puppies would be taken care of and would not have to be humanely euthanized, as we agonized about that possibility. You were true to your word.
To say the efforts of Romania Animal Rescue and everyone involved were incredible is, I believe, a correct account given that you had only three weeks to work with. You raised the money, acquired the crates and coordinated the shots/microchips here in Bucharest and everything else that went into giving these little ones a new and wonderful life. You were also kind enough to spay/neuter our dogs, which is such a critical need here in Romania.
Thank you just seems so incomplete.
You most certainly have our permission to use this story for your continued efforts.

The Wildlife Center of Virginia
has sent RAR supplies that will be given to four vets during our training program in Galati, Cluj, Buzau, and Buftea. These supplies include spay packs, instruments, and many other items that are very difficult to find in Romania.

Marin Humane Society
Marin Humane Society rescued
several dogs from Harsova, Romania. Neil Trent, the director of Marin Humane Society, has been to Romania with
Humane Society International, and has seen what life is like for the Romanian
street dogs. He was very happy to help RAR by finding 16 puppies wonderful
homes. We want to also thank Nancy H, AnnaBell, Rory, Valerie, Charlotte,
Melanie, and
Mo for providing the funds to send the animals to the USA.

RAR would like to thank The PK Foundation and On-Shore Foundation for their donations.
Stichting WereldAsielen Nederland
 We had finally managed to clear out our debt from 2006 with
Dr. Ileana, as well as the costs incurred by our former partner in Galati. As always, we are in debt to Dr. Ileana for her service.
Stichting WereldAsielen Nederland sent a donation of €2105 to
cover the costs of Dr. Ileana's work. This generous donation pulls RAR out
of debt with Dr. Ileana, and the very important work of spay and neutering can
be continued in Galati. Thank you, Stichting WereldAsielen Nederland, for
your support!

Our special thanks and appreciation go out to Claudiu Iosim of Animed
Arad in Arad, Romania. He is working very hard to get a shipment of
DEFEND and veterinary supplies released from Romanian customs in
Constanta!
Claudiu runs a spay/neuter program in Arad, and helped us also by
allowing Dr. Bachman to go to his home and spay/neuter dogs and
cats in May, without much notice from us at all!
Animed Arad believes failure is not an option, and so do we!
